A six acre orchard and sandstone home in New Town, Hobart. Built in 1844, Lauderdale Cottage holds a unique place in Tasmanian history and remains a stunning example of Georgian Maritime Villa. What was once a gentleman's country home is now a centrally located oasis in the centre of Hobart.
Since 2017 the house has been our family home, and we have lovingly restored the once-neglected orchard and grounds. Where once blackberries and weeds grew wild, we have reclaimed and replanted.

We are happy to host small weddings & elopements, gardening groups and community groups.
